Student Information and Application Form
The River Church School of Ministry (RCSM) is designed for the person who wants to make a difference in the world around them, and around the world. Students of the school will have the opportunity to join us on missions trips to Africa, Europe, Asia, and North and South America. Students will receive hands-on experience in the supernatural as they heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leper, and cast out demons.
Total reliance upon the Holy Spirit is the only way we can insure our success in any area of our Christian life. Therefore, it is necessary for us to “hear” what the Spirit is saying to the Body of Christ today. We must develop an ear to hear the prophetic and revelatory language of the Holy Spirit. Students will learn to hear the voice of God and how to properly understand the prophetic. Students will learn how to access the heavenly realms and know the heart and mind of God in a deep, loving relationship with our Heavenly Father.
As each student develops in character and integrity, they will build a strong foundation for both the prophetic and supernatural power of God working in their lives and ministry. It is character and integrity that make a man or woman of God—not just the anointing.
The River Church School of Ministry is unique. We use a combination of correspondence courses from Tom Scarrella Ministries (Ministry Training Institute), along with classes that will be held weekly. The student will also be required to be at all River Church services. It is important that the students receive teaching and preaching that lines up with our foundational beliefs. We must know that the student's vision is lining up with the vision God has given concerning the prophetic and signs and wonders. "How can two walk together unless they agree?"(Amos 3:3) Then we will build the Kingdom together with Kingdom-minded people.
It is our intention to raise up spiritual “sons” and “daughters” that will carry the same vision, passion, power, and spiritual DNA as ours. We do not want to control the student, but to release them into their destiny. The destiny God has for you is waiting for you to step into! Your future is waiting for you! RCSM maintains the philosophy of integrity in ministry just as Proverbs 10:9 instructs, “He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known.” (NKJV)
Each course of study will require portions of reading both from course manuals and books. On each exam, students will be asked whether or not they've read the required reading material. Therefore, remember that honor and integrity are not only requirements for all believers, but essential for those who are being trained for ministry.
Following are each of the five course outlines and lessons:
Signs, Wonders, and Miracles Course Description: The Signs, Wonders, and Miracles course will prepare students for the power of God to flow through them to the sick, bound, and hurting. Miracles were normal to Jesus as they should be to the believer. The training offered in this course is life changing, covering subjects such as Healing and Deliverance. Upon completion of the Signs, Wonders, and Miracles course, students will be released into the miraculous hand of Jesus, training them for an effectively powerful ministry to the sick, bound, and poverty stricken. Righteous Prosperity Course Description: The Righteous Prosperity course will help strip away all doubt and fear in believers as they stand before God. Also, this course will provide powerful teaching and insight about how to walk in prosperity, how to break the spirit of poverty over every area of life, as well as the true meaning of righteousness. Prepare yourself for a revolutionary change as you delve into Righteous Prosperity. Lessons:
The Anointing Course description: The Anointing course provides insight in how to grow and flow with the anointing of God It will cover extensive teaching on the Gifts of the Spirit and what the gifts look like, as well as how to flow in all the gifts, and the difference of each of them. The Anointing was the main message of Jesus, and this course will illustrate to students how to increase and release the anointing and how it flows within the five-fold ministry. Lessons:
Prayer Course description: The Prayer course is designed to release the power of God through learning what it means to have an effective prayer life. Students will learn how prayer was used in the life and ministry of Jesus in order that He would fulfill his destiny and purpose on earth. The Prayer course reveals the different types of prayer, taking prayer from “devotion to delight,” and instructs students how to pray to get results. Prayer is the umbilical cord to heaven; taking this course will release a strong anointing in prayer. One preacher wrote, “The minister who doesn't pray is only playing.” Lessons:
Ministry Essentials Course Description: The Ministry Essentials course is the most informative course RCSM offers its students. This course will train students for practical full time ministry. Ministry Essentials covers subjects such as: stepping into ministry, the various ministry roles, and excelling in the ministry. It also covers aspects of ministry including: training for the itinerant ministry, pastoral ministry, and various other ministries. Individuals with a call on their life will find this course a must!
